KitchenAid KHTU705R Under-Cabinet Hood
The KHTU705R is a 30-inch under-cabinet range hood with a 600 CFM exhaust rating and halogen lighting, also sold as the KHTU705RSS. It mounts to the underside of a cabinet above a 30-inch range or cooktop.
A 600 CFM blower moves a lot of air, so when airflow drops the cause is usually restriction, not the motor itself. We pull the filters and check them for grease, then look at the wheel and the duct. If those are clear, we test the motor speed on each setting. The halogen lights run hot, and a cracked lens or a loose socket is the usual reason they stop working.
