KitchenAid KWCU460W Designer Hood Service
A KWCU460W is a 36-inch designer commercial style hood from KitchenAid, mounted above a 36-inch range. Sold as KWCU460WSS too.
This style has a visible canopy that people notice, so we are careful with its finish while we work inside. We remove the filters, inspect the blower wheel and motor, run the controls and look at the lamps. If there is a draw problem, we follow the duct to be sure the damper opens. You get a written price before any work, and a 30-day workmanship warranty stands behind it.
If a lamp or switch has failed, we replace it with the correct part for your model number. We never force a substitute that changes how the hood looks or works.
Grease and loose hardware throw the wheel off balance. We clean the wheel, tighten the mounts and test the motor to pinpoint where the noise is coming from.
We cover the canopy and the range surface and handle the panels carefully, so the finish is left as we found it. Protecting the canopy is part of every visit.
We test each socket and bulb separately and replace whichever failed. Sometimes one bad socket takes out a lamp that has a fresh bulb, so we do not guess.
Book in about a minute, or call the desk. Same-day windows inside the Loop on most days, next-day across the rest of Houston.
