KitchenAid KESH307G Thermal Convection Range Repair

A KESH307G is a slide-in electric range with a thermal convection oven, found in finishes such as KESH307GAL, KESH307GBL, KESH307GBS, KESH307GBT and KESH307GWH. It was built to sit between cabinets, and long service shows up mostly as a temperature that no longer matches the dial.
That is where we begin. We set the oven to a known temperature and measure what the cavity really does, which tells us whether the sensor has drifted. After that we check each surface zone with its element and switch, and examine the door for sag, a worn gasket and a lock that holds on too long after cleaning. Because the oven has convection, we also listen to the fan during the test. Every quote is written before the work starts, and the repair carries a 30-day workmanship warranty.
We check both in order. The sensor is tested for resistance and compared with a thermometer in the cavity. Only if it reads correctly do we look at the control.
It slides out, but the power connection needs care. We disconnect it safely, protect your flooring, and push it back flush once the work is complete.
We listen for where the noise starts, then check the fan blade, motor and mounting. A bent blade can be fixed on its own, while a worn motor is replaced.
