On KitchenAid freestanding and slide-in ranges such as the KFEG500ESS and KSGG700ESS, the message Press Cancel to Reset is shown when the control has detected a problem or error. Press the Cancel button or pad to reset. If Call Service is displayed after pressing Cancel, reset power to the product by turning off the breaker and turning it back on.
1. Press Cancel. 2. If Call Service appears, switch the range off at the breaker for a minute. 3. Restore power and watch the display for a minute. 4. If the message comes back, stop using the oven and call us.
The Cancel button or pad. That resets the control after the message appears, and the display returns to normal if the condition has cleared. If not, the message returns and the range may need service.
Reset power to the range at the breaker for a minute, then turn it on again. If Call Service returns, the range needs a technician.
Only that an error was detected. If it keeps returning, we find out which part reported it, and we give a written price before any repair, and a 30-day warranty on the work.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
