What is Err7 telling me?

The oven has found a problem in its keypad, its control, or the wiring joining them. It does not say which, so a technician measures the signals to find the weak spot.

My microwave turned on after a reset but Err7 came back later. Why?

A reset only clears the stored message. If a connection or board is marginal, the problem reappears once it gets warm or is used again, which is why it needs diagnosis.
