KitchenAid Over-the-Range Microwave Code F3T3: hood temperature thermistor

What F3T3 means

On KitchenAid over-the-range microwaves such as the KMHS120ESS, KMHC319ESS or KHMS155LSS, F3T3 means there may be a problem with the hood temperature thermistor, or the wiring to it. The hood thermistor watches the heat rising from the range below. A lost reading may stop the fan or cooking, and the code stays on the display.
