KitchenAid KESC307H Range Service

The KESC307H comes in several finishes, among them KESC307HBL, KESC307HBS, KESC307HBT and KESC307HWW. These ranges are old enough that owners have usually learned their quirks, so by the time they call, the complaint is specific: cakes brown on one side, or a burner clicks and never catches.
If the oven drifts away from the temperature you set, we compare the sensor against an independent thermometer. When baking is slow, the heating element is tested next. At the cooktop, a zone that will not heat gets its element and switch checked, and an oven function that has gone dead gets a relay test on the control board. Because these ranges are old, we also mention any other wear we notice while the oven is open, so you can plan ahead. We quote the repair in writing, and our work carries a 30-day warranty.
Sometimes a setting adjustment is enough, but a drifting sensor usually needs replacing. We measure the cavity with our own thermometer to see which applies.
That pattern points to a relay on the control board rather than the whole range. We test the relay and its connections, and you get a written price before any board is ordered.
The finishes BL, BS, BT and WW are built on one KESC307H design, so the heating parts, switches and control board are shared between them. Trim is the only difference. We still check the rating plate before ordering, so the right part arrives the first time.
