KitchenAid KUWS24RS Wine Cellar Service

A KUWS24RS is a 24-inch under-counter wine cellar with five SatinGlide extendable racks, also sold as the KUWS24RSBS and KUWS24RSSS. It tends to be placed under a counter in a bar or a dining nook, and the extendable racks are its main feature.
Daily use shows first in the racks and the door seal, so we run each rack out and in, then check how the door closes with a bottle load. After that we clean the condenser, test the fans and use a thermometer to confirm the cellar holds temperature.
A written price is given before the work, and a 30-day workmanship warranty applies. We also check that the cabinet stands level and that the door clears nearby cabinetry when it swings open, since extendable racks work best on a level base.
Clean the rails with a damp cloth and keep the load balanced. If a rack still sticks, we inspect the rails for bends and replace worn glides.
New bottles add heat, so the cellar needs time to recover. If it never recovers, the condenser, fan or seal needs a check, and we test each.
A click as the compressor starts or stops is normal. A loud clank or constant clicking points to a relay or control, which we test.
Book in about a minute, or call the desk. Same-day windows inside the Loop on most days, next-day across the rest of Houston.
