When only the upper or lower oven works, the problem is usually narrower than a whole-unit failure. Here is how we narrow it down.
A double wall oven has two cavities that share a cabinet, a power feed and sometimes a control. When one side heats and the other does not, that tells us a lot.
If one oven works normally, the power feed and the main control are probably fine. That is useful news, because it points toward a part that serves only the dead cavity.
We test the element with a meter, check the sensor reading, and inspect the wiring harness for scorch marks. Because the other oven works, this is often a single-part repair.
If you host in the cooler months, deal with the problem before the season starts. A single working oven makes a holiday menu much harder.
We will give you a written price before we start. Take a look at our wall oven repair page and see which areas we cover on the service area page. Both ovens are covered by our 30-day workmanship warranty once the repair is finished.
