On steam-capable KitchenAid wall ovens, F7 E0 belongs to the water and steam system and does not apply to every wall oven. It means the water level, the water level sensor, or the associated wiring may have a problem. The display shows the code, and steam cooking may be unavailable until the water side is working again. Because only the water side is named, other cooking modes are a separate matter, but avoid steam cycles until the oven has been tested.
1. Press Cancel, open the door, and give the cavity time to cool. 2. Check that any water container or fill point is seated and filled as your model requires. 3. Reset the breaker for one minute, then restore power. 4. If F7 E0 returns, stop steam cooking and call us.
It belongs to the steam system. Regular baking may still be possible if the oven allows it, but if the code keeps returning, stop and call us so the water side is tested.
It lets the oven know how much water is available for steam. F7 E0 means the level, the sensor or its wiring may have a problem, and the oven cannot judge it.
Checking the water supply is sensible. If the code stays after you do, the sensor or wiring needs testing, and we can do that with a written quote first.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
