When power is first supplied to a KitchenAid electric wall oven such as the KOSE500ESS or KODE500ESS, or after a power interruption or failure, the display shows Time, 12:00 or POWER LOSS. Press Cancel to clear the display, then set the time of day. This is not a repair code. After the time is set again, the oven returns to normal operation, and timers or delayed cooking should be entered again.
1. Press Cancel to clear the display. 2. Set the time of day on the control. 3. Check any timers or delayed cooking you had set and enter them again. 4. If it keeps happening without a power cut at your house, call us.
Power was first supplied to the oven or was interrupted, so the display shows Time, 12:00 or POWER LOSS until you press Cancel and set the time of day.
Not if you set the time and it stays. A single power interruption is the usual reason, and the oven returns to normal operation after the time is entered.
If the display keeps returning to 12:00 without any power cut at your house, call us so we can check the oven and its supply and quote in writing.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
