On KitchenAid KURR and KURL undercounter refrigerators and KUBR beverage centers, such as the KURR114KSB, KURL114KSB and KUBR314KSS, the Over Temperature Alarm tells you the cabinet stayed warm for 4 hours or longer. The limit is above 45°F (7°C) on the undercounter refrigerator and above 70°F (21°C) on the beverage center. The light flashes until Reset Alarm is pressed, and the alert reactivates every 4 hours while the cabinet is still over range.
1. Close the door fully and clear anything blocking the seal. 2. Press Reset Alarm to stop the flashing light. 3. Keep the door closed for several hours while the unit recovers. 4. Clean the front grille so air can pass. 5. If the alert returns, move drinks or food somewhere cold and call us.
An undercounter refrigerator above 45°F (7°C) for 4 hours or longer, or a beverage center above 70°F (21°C) for 4 hours or longer. The light then flashes until you press Reset Alarm.
After Reset Alarm is pressed, the alert reactivates every 4 hours while the cabinet is still over range. If it keeps returning, the cabinet is not recovering.
Yes. The beverage center limit is above 70°F (21°C), while the undercounter refrigerator limit is above 45°F (7°C). Both wait 4 hours or longer before the alert.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
