KitchenAid KEBC207K 30-Inch Double Oven

The KEBC207K is a 30-inch double electric wall oven, and the stainless version is sold as the KEBC207KSS. Because only the upper oven has True Convection, the two cavities age differently, and we keep that in mind when a customer says one oven bakes unevenly.
If the upper oven starts to rattle or hum during convection, the fan motor and blade are what we inspect. If it simply heats slowly, we test the bake and broil elements, then compare the real cavity temperature with what the control shows. The lower oven has no convection fan, so uneven baking there points to an element or sensor.
The temperature probe plugs into a jack in the upper cavity, and a bent or dirty jack can make the oven ignore the probe. You get a written price before we order anything, and our work comes with a 30-day workmanship warranty.
The lower oven relies on its bake and broil elements without a fan moving the air, so it browns differently by design. If it runs cold, we test the element and sensor to rule out wear.
It can be, but the jack is just as likely. We test the probe resistance and inspect the jack for bent contacts or baked-on residue, and then replace whichever part is out of range.
A steady, low airflow sound is normal. Grinding, rattling or a pulse that comes and goes means a bent blade or a worn motor bearing, and we inspect it from the rear of the upper cavity.
