KitchenAid KOED527P Wall Oven Service

The KOED527P is a double wall oven with an air fry mode, also sold as the KOED527PBS and KOED527PSS. Two cavities sit in one wall cabinet, and the air fry mode adds a fan that works harder than a plain bake cycle.
That fan is the first thing to wear, so we listen for scraping or a rising whine, then test the elements in the cavity that is not performing. A sensor that reads off makes the oven shut the heat down early, and the result looks like a weak element, which is why we measure the real temperature before replacing anything.
The control board comes last. You get a written price in advance, and our 30-day workmanship warranty applies to the repair.
We check the fan for free rotation and the element for continuity. A tired fan moves less air, and a weak element gives less heat, either of which dulls air fry results.
The model is listed with an air fry mode, so we test whichever cavity you report. We do not assume the second cavity needs work unless it also shows a problem.
The element may not be energizing, or the sensor may be reporting the wrong temperature. We measure the actual cavity temperature and test the element and its relay.
