KitchenAid KOES730S Smart Oven Repair

The KOES730S is a 30-inch smart electric single oven with assisted cooking modes and a PrintShield finish, also sold as the KOES730SJP and KOES730SPS. It is a full-size single oven and often the only one in the kitchen, so a down oven is felt at once.
Our approach is the same each time. We confirm what the oven does, measure the real cavity temperature, and test the elements before looking at electronics. Fan noise is traced to a blade or bearing, and an assisted mode that fails is traced to a sensor or a door switch.
Smart ovens add the screen and the connection, so we check the display cable and supply when either misbehaves. A written price comes first, and the work carries a 30-day workmanship warranty.
We test the bake element and compare the sensor reading with a thermometer. A weak element or a sensor reading high are the usual causes of an oven that never reaches temperature.
The display cable may be loose, or the supply to the control may drop. We check both, and replace the display or board only if the cause is inside them.
A short buzz while the oven cools is normal. A buzz that lingers or grows louder means the bearing is wearing, and we replace the fan.
