On KitchenAid electric single, double and combination wall ovens such as the KOSE500ESS or KODE500ESS, the display asks you to press Cancel to reset whenever the control has detected an error. Touch the Cancel button or pad and the oven should reset itself. Should the words Call Service appear after you press Cancel, remove power from the product and restore it. After that, the oven returns to its normal display. This is the first step before any repair.
1. Press the Cancel pad once. 2. If Call Service is displayed, switch the oven breaker off for a minute, then on. 3. Set your cycle again and watch the display. 4. If the message returns, stop using the oven and call us.
Press the Cancel button or pad to reset. The message is shown when a problem or error has been detected, and Cancel is the step that clears it.
If Call Service is displayed after pressing Cancel, reset power to the product at the breaker for a minute, then set your cycle again and watch the display. Do not keep restarting if the message returns.
If the message repeats after Cancel and a power reset, call us so the control can be tested. We quote in writing first and cover the repair for 30 days.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
