KitchenAid KRSF705H 36-Inch Side-by-Side Service

The KRSF705H is a 36-inch side-by-side with a stainless steel finish, and the KRSF705HPS number belongs to the same base model. It is part of the current KitchenAid lineup, and the dispenser on the door gets used more than anything else in the cabinet, so it is where we begin.
When the external ice and water dispenser delivers slowly or not at all, we test the supply, the filter and the dispenser valve in turn, then check the ice maker if cubes are the issue. If the interior runs warm despite a correct setting, we look at airflow between the two sections, the door seals and the fans before anything is replaced. A noise from the compressor or evaporator fan area gets its own listening test, with the door open and closed.
The adjustable shelves and door bins rarely need attention, but we leave them level and secure when we finish. Written pricing comes before work, and repairs carry a 30-day warranty on workmanship.
The usual causes are a clogged filter, a low supply pressure, or a partly closed valve behind the cabinet. We test flow at each point, starting with the filter, so we replace only the part that restricts the water.
We check that cold air is reaching both sections: the evaporator fan, the air passages, and the door seals. We also verify the sensor readings, because a sensor that drifts can fool a control that is otherwise working.
A soft hum while the compressor runs is normal. A rattle, a buzz or a sound that changes with the evaporator fan is not. We listen at the compressor and inside the freezer, then trace the noise to the part causing it.
